The Long Game by Elena Armas

...Does she not know about the Ghost scene
"I wonder who made you believe that you don't deserve to be fussed over" It's me. Hi.
"I think, for someone who's always justifying other people's [ish] behavior, you're extremely hard on yourself"

That epilogue hinting at the next book.
OK BUT WHERE'S THE ROOSTER

The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas

The wording and phrasing is just off enough that it bugs me. Because my brain predicts a word, and then it isn't that word.
If we spend the entire book talking about his arms, istg
Y'all doing Ashton dirty...
"Out of Reception" sure that's why two people on their honeymoon aren't answering their cell phones.
....He started in Portland, rented a car in New Orleans, and then drove to Phoenix....like...that.....

Omigod they were roommates
Ok but men making bread.
Character referencing the gaga gif:

Ok so like.... If we could just get rid of Lina, everything would be perfect.
Also it felt a little bit like a writer self-insert where she just posts her diary, but I have no room to judge cause that's my NANOWRIMO project, basically, but with dragons.

The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

Yes I saw the cover when I was checking it out for Laura...shush.
Let's all kill Gerald. Slowly.. With paper cuts. From all the HR complaints he should have against him.
I know Aarong is chill, but like... Aaron answering Lina's phone:

Catalina:

@Gerald:

Alexa play "I Can't Make You Love Me"
Insert the climax of "My Heart Will Go On" because it has dramatic entrance vibes.
....what do you mean that's the end..where's...where's the rest of my epilogue....
.....there wasn't really a place to put this but like.... I have to (he didn't, but like...I'm not missing my opportunity to use this gif)

The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

Summary: Office romance, "hate" to love, fake wedding date tropes.

I liked this book a lot! I just wish there wasn't so much of it - the author is wonderful, but she needed another round of editing to trim down some scenes.

I don't even think they get to the wedding until halfway through the book.

I look forward to her growth as an author and to see what she comes up with next!

473 - read that again 473 pages!!!
