How to Betray a Dragon's Hero by Cressida Cowell

I just love picturing Toothless in a little winter coat. He is so ridiculous and I love him. He is so spiteful in such a childish way. I'm not cold. Actually I'm really hot. I need to go home to cool down. Toothless being cheeky never gets old. I will always love the way David Tennant plays him.

Snotlout....Can we just frame the whole chapter... The whole "If I stop being angry..." Chef's kiss.
*You know what that is? Growth.* gif Emotional depth.

How to Fight a Dragon's Fury by Cressida Cowell

There were dragons when I was a boy...How dare they..
My little boy growing up and learning things.
Gif of Mushu "My little baby is all grown up and savin' China." Frame all the lessons.
Just frame the whole last chapter and epilogue. Why did I think I could listen to this while I was driving?
I just want a poster of "Not the Settling Kind"

How to Seize a Dragon's Jewel by Cressida Cowell, Read by David Tennant

I love that Toothless is learning to be polite...and he's so proud of himself.
I love how he constantly goes around saying that he is the most important lost thing.
I love Toothless so freaking much.
I need some fanart of Hiccup Neville-ing up. Because I've seen movie Hiccup....But I want book Hiccup.
You can't just write about suffering, growing up, and becoming a hero and not expect me to start waving a lighter over my head...
Epilogues always get me, y'all. I'm not crying, you're crying.

How to Steal a Dragon's Sword by Cressida Cowell Read by David Tennant

Is this a children's book... I did not sign up for these lessons (I love them, but still)...and stress...
Just frame the entire intro that comes before the prologue..
I know it says don't blame the story for being dark....
My eyes aren't watering...It's raining outside.
My beautiful baby child deserves the world and he doesn't deserve to be stressed.
Oh my gosh Toothless.. You are my spirit animal. Jealous of best friend having other friends... I do need my ego stroked. You are so cute and so loved.

How to Break a Dragon's Heart by Cressida Cowell Read by David Tennant

Toothless. Heart Eyes. Enough said. The stupid stubborn wonderful baby who eats everything and never learns his lessons.

I loved learning more about the lore and Hiccup's family history and seeing the parallels. Destiny.

Storytelling. A+

Y'all things are getting darker...

How To Ride a Dragon's Storm by Cressida Cowell-Read by David Tennant

Drunk dragons are my jam.... I love them...
Sassy slightly spiteful toddler dragons that act like the youngest child and won't help unless you promise them things--they are my spirit animals...
I wasn't crying during the last few chapters like at the end of Apollo 13... I don't have feelings...
Hiccup being philosophical during the last two chapters (including the epilogue) *Chef Kiss* Lines about being a hero the hard way...I'm not crying.. It's October and I totally have fall allergies...It's the flu shot that I haven't gotten yet...

A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons--Cressida Cowell (Read by David Tennant)

Toothless, as always is hilarious and super snarky.
I may or may not have been mildly concerned when one of the main settings for the book was a library....
Should I be insulted that the villain may or may not be the Hairy Scary Librarian... Because reputations are nice...and I'm not a librarian...

How to Cheat A Dragon's Curse by Cressida Cowell (Read by David Tennant)

Image result for how to cheat a dragon's curse
How To Cheat A Dragon's Curse was hilarious!
I've fallen in love with Toothless and all his cowardice and....obnoxiousness..
David Tennant's performance makes it all the more enjoyable with the nasally stuttering of the dragon.
I still laugh about a scene where Toothless is extra ridiculous, acting like a mixture between a dog and a toddler.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney (Book 1)

This month my 7-year-old son and I continue our journey with Greg Heffley by borrowing all the books in this wimpy kid series. This is the first book.
It all started when mom gave Gregory a diary even though he told her to get a journal. Greg writes about life's challenges and funs in middle school. Very funny.
