The Library Book by Susan Orlean

So the librarian was asked to tell them what the most important things in the library were, in case that was all that could be saved, which reminded me of when Notre Dame was burning, and they didn't know if it was going to collapse, but the priest ran in to get the crown of thorns and the tabernacle. I'm fine. I'm in pain.
MISSOURI REPRESENTATION...but yeah.
Ok but I am loving this history.
