The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey by Trenton Lee Stewart

I just love that each of the children brings a unique perspective and their perspectives are hilarious. I love that the unique-ness of the characters, and their quirks, are the things that help them and that they're not looked down on.
Look at the dads. I love the dads. Mr. Benedict and Mr. Milligan. I love them.
It's funny and it's clever, and it slaps.

The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart

So I thought this was going to be like Mr. Lemoncello's, and it's not. It's so much better and I'm super glad because like...It's clever, and on a higher level and my brain doesn't get upset.
The sass. Iconic. In character. Incredible.
