Enchanted to Meet You by Meg Cabot

Did I decide to read this book because of the title and the fact that the cover is purple...yes
Hey look, they have purebloods in here...
I know her name isn't Karen...but like...she's a Karen and I vote we get rid of her because she's awful.
Must protect Jess.

No Words by Meg Cabot

So Jo just....sigh.... I wish she had been developed more... Because her history was hinted at, and I'm like...let's dig into that.
Molly. All the heart eyes for Molly and the sheriff. I'm not saying I would have loved to have like..a ton of their perspectives but like.
Will's cool. We knew that.

No Offense by Meg Cabot

So the end of that first chapter...just...anyone else...
I appreciate all of the library advocacy.
Y'all... y'all are thirsty. Also I was expecting more character development and the arguments were resolved too fast, but that's just me and my love of angst....

No Judgments by Meg Cabot

I thought because Meg Cabot wrote The Princess Diaries it was going to be chill...no she thirsty.
So the coffee shop has the same rule as Luke's from Gilmore Girls.

The Boy is Back by Meg Cabot

Summary: "A viral scandal draws notorious celebrity golfer Reed Stewart back to his tiny Indiana hometown, where he reunites with small business owner Becky Flowers in ways that challenge their perceptions about each other."

I adore the books in the Boy series by Meg Cabot, especially Boy Meets Girl. Boy Meets Girl is one of my all-time favorite books, and it's one that I read over and over again. Thus, my expectations for the newest installment of the series were a bit high. However, in reality, the book fell a bit short of meeting those expectations. The creativity of the format was not as interesting as it could have been, nor was Becky's character as well-developed as she should have been. She did not have 1/10th of the personality of Kate Mackenzie. I did enjoy Reed's character and overall the story was interesting, just not nearly as funny or clever as the other books in the series.

Remembrance by Meg Cabot

*Spoilers below*
Summary: "All Susannah Simon wants is to make a good impression at her first job since graduating from college (and since becoming engaged to Dr. Jesse de Silva). But when she's hired as a guidance counselor at her alma mater, she stumbles across a decade-old murder, and soon ancient history isn't all that's coming back to haunt her. Old ghosts as well as new ones are coming out of the woodwork, some to test her, some to vex her, and it isn't only because she's a mediator, gifted with second sight. What happens when old ghosts come back to haunt you? If you're a mediator, you might have to kick a little ass. From a sophomore haunted by the murderous specter of a child to ghosts of a very different kind--including Paul Slater, Suze's ex, who shows up to make a bargain Suze is certain must have come from the Devil himself--Suze isn't sure she'll make it through the semester, let alone to her wedding night. Suze is used to striking first and asking questions later. But what happens when ghosts from her past--including one she found nearly impossible to resist--strike first?"

Remembrance is the newest installment of the popular teen Mediator series by Meg Cabot, and I never want this series to end. Meg Cabot should continue writing this series, and only this series forever! As this is an adult version of the teen series, Remembrance contained more mature themes that I really connected with. I love that Meg Cabot is continuing these series (Princess Diaries & Mediator) as I grow older; Mia and Suze have grown up with me!

Proposal: A Mediator Novella by Meg Cabot

Summary: Proposal is a small e-novella that preludes the 7th installment, Remembrance, of the Mediator series. I bought it on my Kindle for $2, and it was the perfect Valentine's Day story. Like the Princess Diaries series, Meg Cabot has continued her popular teen Mediator series with a young-adult installment. In this book, we catch up with Suze as a young adult while she's in graduate school, and her life is as crazy as always for someone who speaks to the dead.

**Spoilers for those who haven't read the series below**

It was so nice to catch up with Suze and Jesse and to see what they've been up to since the last book of the original Mediator series (I need to re-read those asap!).

Suze continues to be hard-core, hilarious and self-reliant. Jesse has finally become the doctor he always wanted to be, and he is as swoon-worthy as ever. I kind of miss his ghostly interactions with Suze though.

Royal Wedding by Meg Cabot

Summary: "For Princess Mia, the five years since college graduation have been a whirlwind of activity. Living in New York City, running her new teen community center, attending royal engagements. And speaking of engagements. Mia's longtime boyfriend Michael managed to clear both their schedules just long enough for an exotic (and very private) Caribbean island interlude where he popped the question! But now Mia has a scandal of majestic proportions to contend with: her grandmother's leaked 'fake' wedding plans to the press. And a scheming politico is trying to force Mia's father from the throne, all because of a royal secret that could leave Genovia without a monarch. Is Mia ready to wed-- and ready to rule as well?"

Royal Wedding is the first adult novel in the Princess Diaries series. It catches up with Mia as a 26 year-old struggling with princess, royal and family obligations. I am a huge fan of the Princess Diaries series, so I enjoyed catching up with some of my favorite characters. However, this book left me wanting more, but not in a good way. I felt like some really big things happened to Mia in this book, but I didn't get enough info or details to make them satisfying. Way too much time was spent setting up the spin-off series rather than focusing on the HUGE news for Mia! Hopefully there will be a follow-up novel? I need to know more!
