Soooooooooooo I love Fangirl....so having it manga/comic form is super cool.
Still not how I picture Levi but like.....I picture him like the guy from the youtube scene.

I was worried about revisiting this series, because I really loved it the first time through, but that was 4 years ago. I've read so many books in the past 4 years, that I've found I've become a bit more demanding in regards to what I feel makes a good story.

Revisiting old favorites is like snuggling up with a puppy and your favorite blanket, but there's always this 5% chance that the puppy could pee on you and chew up your favorite blanket, after which you may still love the puppy but you'll be pretty frustrated.

So yeah, I took some fear into my second read, and it was all wasted anxiety, as I still absolutely loved this story. Lex Martin has a way of developing characters that really draws you in, and when you put down the books, it's pretty upsetting to find that your brand new amazing friends are no longer part of your life.

Also, this story has an undercurrent of mystery/suspense that just added an extra touch to an already good read.

This novel is sweet and sexy with an edgy undertone. I couldn't stand to put it down! Clementine is fascinating and relatable despite her harsh edges (probably because of them), and Gavin made me swoon constantly. Wow! That boy set a new book boyfriend standard.

1 part giggles (me, not the characters...well, sometimes the characters but mostly me)

Plenty of Awwwwwwww!!!! *swoon*

I just had to re-read this book....it is a true example of a beautiful disaster of a relationship. I have not been able to read Walking Disaster, which is why I have to re-read this first. I needed to make sure that I remembered her story before I could move onto his. Travis.... I like him, I hate him, I like him, I love him, I hate him... I just can't wait to see the other side of the story!

I really enjoyed that you got to see it from Travis's side. I can say that I really liked Travis after Beautiful Disaster, but I love him after Walking Disaster. You get to see that he isn't the tough guy that he is first made out to be in the first book. Also, you get a better understanding of what her nickname was all about.

My Review: I enjoyed this book. Grace needs to learn how to feel better about her self and not think that she is such a bad person. But she was picked on so much in high school and turned to the only thing that she could think of to deal with people. Turns out that her new step brother is the only person that ever protected her years ago. The only thing that I find weird is the step sibling relationship and how no one seems to find it strange that they get together.

Through out this book more secrets come out about their life. I knew that something bad was going to happen, but I was happy to see that it was not near as bad I was thinking.

Kissing Madeline (260 Pages) Daren is Jax's best friend and Clementine's ex-boyfriend. Even though he explained why he treated Clementine the way he did.. I wasn't for sure how I would feel about having a book about him. However, I was wrong because I begin to like Daren as much as the other men in the series.

This was a great story about how you need to learn to move forward whatever happens to you. I found myself very interested and I have to move onto the next book to see what will happen with Logan.

I dropped this down a star because of course they had a fight, like always, I just thought the fight was not even worth it. They both over reacted about things and didn't make much sense. Also with what happened to her, I didn't like the way she acted. Lucy could have dealt with that much better than she did.

Wow! I had to finish this book in a day. I just could not stop and I needed to know how it would all end. This book will tear at your emotions: make you happy, laugh, and sad. Bright Side (Kate) moved to MN for college. She left behind her best friend since she was 10, Gus. Her relationship with Clayton, Shelly and Pete are also very cute and funny. She isn't afraid to stand up for her friends. She also meets Keller at the coffee shop, they realize fast that they have feeling for each other. They both have many secrets that they are hiding from all their friends.

I didn't think that there was any way that Kim could give another book any where close to Bright Side. Oh my I was so wrong! I could tell that Gus was a great guy from the first book. But I never thought that I would fall so much in love with him. He is such a great guy! His mother is just as amazing. They keep opening their house for people that need help. This was such an amazing story and just the ending that I was hoping for Gus.

"In the Middle of Somewhere" by Roan Parrish

Daniel Mulligan has just moved to Holiday, Michigan, to teach at a small college after finishing his PhD in English.  Originally from Philadelphia, Daniel is a tough and tattooed outcast who's never really fit in with his family or classmates.  His mother died when he was young, and his father and three older brothers (all mechanics) never much cared for him, especially after he told them he was gay.  So Daniel feels especially out of place in the small town until Rex Vale comes back into his life.  The two men met six months earlier when Daniel was in town for an interview with the college and was literally rescued by Rex when he wrecked his rental car in a snowstorm.  They soon begin a relationship, but Daniel has never really dated and Rex doesn't want to get too attached to Daniel due to others in his life leaving him.  But as they grow closer, they discover that being vulnerable and letting someone help you is not the same as being weak.

This was a great book with two memorable and very likable main characters who seem to have little in common but complement each other well.  Rex doesn't talk much but can fix or build just about anything, while Daniel loves his books and overthinks everything.  Secondary characters, especially Daniel's best friend, Ginger, help move the story forward to a satisfying conclusion.  I have already started reading the next in the series.  350 pages (Kindle edition).

"Helping Hand" by Jay Northcote

Jez and Mac are two of eight roommates sharing a house in college.  After spending too much money and not enough time on grades during their freshman year, they decide to save their dough and study when the rest of the house goes out every weekend.  They obviously grow closer and soon Mac is questioning if he is as straight as he's always thought.  Two likable main characters, low angst, and set in England made this book a winner for me.  107 pages (Kindle edition).
