The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

This book is just a feel-good collection of art and anecdotes. I enjoyed the messy ink drawings, as well as the artist working with accidents-one of the images includes his dog's paw prints from walking over it. The interactions between the boy and the animals reminded me a lot of Winnie-the-Pooh stories.

A sweet little book with life's wisdom.

Aesop's Fables by Aesop

Aesop's Fables

Aesop's Fables by

These fables are interesting, especially as many of us heard some of them as children. I know I've also read some of them before, but I've never read them all in full.

Many of morals of these parables are idioms and sayings that we still use today.  I knew some of the stories but not nearly all of them.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Jonathan Kent, who has a pleasant voice.
