How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organizing by K.C. Davis

Summary: "How to Keep House While Drowning will introduce you to six life-changing principles that will revolutionize the way you approach home care—without endless to-do lists. Presented in 31 daily thoughts, this compassionate guide will help you begin to get free of the shame and anxiety you feel over home care."

I listened to this book, and the author did a great job of narrating her own experiences. And she emphasized the important bits nicely, especially the part about care tasks being morally neutral.

I also loved her questioning of the "rules" we think we're taught when it comes to laundry, dishes, etc.

How to Keep House While Drowning by K.C. Davis, LPC

I. LOVE. K.C. Davis. Like y'all I don't think you understand. She has a TikTok page and she like....changed my perspective on so many things and like...she has so many tips for people with executive function issues.
Care. Tasks. Are. Morally. Neutral.
"No one ever shamed themselves into better mental health" shots fricking fired.
I just. I'm fine I'm gonna go cry.
