Frigid by J. Lynn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
There’s nothing quite so captivating as when the lines of friendship get blurred. Unfortunately, in reality, the blurring of those lines frequently ends in a broken heart or a broken friendship, so I find this romance trope absolutely satisfying, since this is one category and genre where both sides always win. After reading some intense books, I needed a change of pace, a captivating read (so obvs choice of JL Arm), and a guaranteed HEA. This was exactly that, and I enjoyed reading it. Because hey, I certainly want romance novels to work out better than my reality did. I mean, I think that's basically the point for this whole friends-to-lovers trope in the first place.
