Her cousin Vinnie, who owns the bail bonds office she works for is held for payment of his $786,000 gambling debt and his wealthy father-in-law refuses to pay. Now, Stephanie, Lula and Connie have to find Vinnie or raise the money before the deadline. Along the way some new bad guys enter town and Stephanie meets a drug dealer with a pet alligator named Mr. Jingles.

This entry in the Stephanie Plum series reminded me of some of the first novels in the series. It had more funny twists and turns than other more recent titles.
