I *&!%$@^&!!* LOVE Sarah J. Maas. She is the queen of YA/NA fantasy novels. If I had to pick which fantasy world to live in, I'd be hard pressed to choose between her worlds.

This book has left me with all the feels, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to function for the rest of the day. I suspect alternately laughing out loud and crying would become a bit awkward at work.

A thousand stars and a moon for this incredible finale.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was killer, and I have all the feels. If emotion required balance, then the entire city around me would be full of emotionless zombies, as I am in an emotional spiral.

The world building is fantastic. Some people said it took time to find their way or get into the world, but that wasn’t the case with me, though I do read a ton of fantasy. The world sucked me in right away, and I was up until 2:30 a.m. reading. Then when I accidentally woke up at 5:30 a.m., I immediately started reading again, as I apparently prefer utter exhaustion over being without this world and these characters.

In fact, it is painful for me right now to be typing this review, when all I want to do is start book two. So that’s it, then. See ya.

Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass, #6)Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this world so much. I kind of hope the series drags on forever (this is book 6). Each book pulls me deeper and makes me love the series more. It’s one of those series that just grows and grows in the best sorts of ways. My least favorite book, is the first one, which is not to say that I dislike it, just that I can’t believe how much this series and world has grown since then.

I listened to the audiobook, which was excellent.

Also, I confess I was feeling a bit disgruntled with Chaol, whom long ago I loved, before I started to kind of hate him. This book really brought things full circle for me.

!!!!!!!! *^%#%^*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is book 5 in the YA fantasy series called Throne of Glass, and every single book that Sarah J. Maas writes is better than the last.  I hope it never ends, but this is how I feel about waiting a whole year to get my hands on book 6:

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4)Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is brilliant. My brain almost exploded while reading.

I am totally in love with this dangerous fantasy world, and I want nothing more than to live inside it with all the incredible, unique, and deadly characters. Every book is better than the last. I actually hope this series never ends. It’s not possible that I will ever get enough of it.

This is book four, so make sure you start with book one: Throne of Glass. Also, the novellas are fantastic and can be read as a complete set before you start book one, if you want. I recommend that, because they provide excellent background information.
