It is on her flight to London to attend the wedding that Hadley meets Oliver. But her constant flashbacks, fears and worries all center around her strained relationship with her father. As a daughter who can relate to a complicated father-daughter relationship, I was in awe of how raw and real Hadley's emotions were throughout the book.
