Court by Tracy Wolff

I. love. this. series. Was I cackling and smirking through the majority of this....yes...I love it. The characters.
I just have so many memes and gifs (Avengers) that I could but I can't remember them because I read it over a weekend and didn't take notes.
I just desperately need the next book....
Hudson. I love him. We know this.
Anxiety rep. fantastic.
Anytime Cyrus says anything I just....am tempted to slap him
everyone is gonna need therapy, y'all.
Everyone's talking about Harry Styles and his album, and I'm just WAITING for someone to please mention Taylor Swift, except the album was created because of quarantine, so does it exist in this world...I have no idea.

All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse #7)

All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse #7) by Charlaine Harris

Pages: 336

Rating: 4 out of 5

Sookie has been recruited by the vampire queen of Louisiana to accompany her to a vampire summit. The queen wants to use Sookie's special abilities in her negotiations. The pay is good, travel and hotel, etc., are all provided. Sookie is hoping this will be a nice vacation only occasionally interrupted by vampires.

She hadn't counted on encountering previous lovers while she is with the new man in life, Quinn. Nor, the tense situation the queen is in. After the destruction of the hurricane to New Orleans the queen's finances are weakened as are the numbers of vampires she rules, all of which put her in a precarious position with the other kings and queens of neighboring states. Add to the mix that the anti-vampire movement is gaining followers and Sookie's plans for a fun, restful vacation go out the window.

Major plot lines happen in this particular book in the series.

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

British people learning the concept of how big America is. Beautiful. And I'm cackling. Cause each state is the size of a European country.
And Baz hates America almost as much as Americans do....Perfection. If he thinks it's bright in Illinois, he gonna hate California.
Simon is a puppy. I love him.

Hidden Things: A Novel. By Doyce Testerman.

Hidden Things: A Novel. By Doyce Testerman. 2012. Harper Voyager. ISBN-13: 9780062108111 (Paperback).

“Watch out for the hidden things,” are the last words private investigator, Josh White, speaks to his business partner, best friend and ex-girlfriend, Calliope Jenkins, while still alive. But cryptic messages from Josh on their business’s answering machine and couriered by a stranger known as the Fat Man send Calliope on a bizarre road trip halfway across the country. With her is an appointed guide, Vikous, who for all appearances is a trench coat-wearing clown. But as Calliope is about to learn, not all things are as they seem and not all shadows that have been forgotten and relegated to myths and nightmares prefer to remain hidden.

Hidden Things is a character-driven story, but the fantasy and suspense elements fit well into the plot and how the Hidden beings are portrayed is wonderfully unique. Interspersed with Calliope’s bittersweet memories of Josh and snarky camaraderie with Vikous, this is a great debut novel by Testerman.
