To Hell on a Fast Horse: Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, and the Epic Chase to Justice in the Old West

by Mark Lee Gardner

336 pages

The death of Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett are brought to life in this book. The author does a great job showing the difficulty in capturing (and then recapturing) the famous outlaw. And the outrage of the community following his death. If you like westerns this book does a great job bringing the truth from the tall tales surrounding these legendary gunslingers.
