As the mystery unfolds, we are introduced to the characters and the community of Holmes County, Ohio. Considering how slowly the book moved initially I was a little surprised by the rushed ending. This is book one in the Amish-Country Mystery series. I'm interested in reading book two just to see what the pace is like now that the characters are established. 256 pages.
