Dewey Pellicano is feeling somewhat bereft. Her mother has died and no one wants to talk about it. She was left the store, Quilter Paradiso, as a legacy only to find her sister-in-law sabotaging her efforts to modernize it. Then, at the big Northern California Quilt Extravaganza, murder is afoot and Dewey is smack dab in the middle of it. The characters and plot don't quite click. But, I was only looking for something light to read on a lazy day and this fit the bill. 301 pages.
