Double Plays and Double Crosses by Don Zminda

A look at the season after the scandal, this book tells how the players, owners, investigators, and gamblers, alike all fared following the throwing of the 1919 World Series. Showing a fairness to both the players and owners (something most books don’t with this topic) this is a great read to see how a team fared when every move was being scrutinized.
