In this twelfth installment of the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, Precious Ramotswe must figure out who is hurting a client's cattle while Grace Makutsi is preoccupied with her upcoming wedding. Like usual, the solution is found through quiet perseverance, conversation and observation. I think what I like best about this series is the kindness, gentleness and integrity found in the main characters. The series is as much about human nature and relationships as it is about solving the case. 224 pages.
