This is very similar to Vampire Academy (but with demons and Gods, instead of vampires), so obviously, I liked it. While the story structure and plot are similar, the characters are interesting and different.
I enjoyed it, and I have a feeling book 2 is going to be better than book one. It really seemed to be building up towards a situation that is going to be even more interesting and put the characters in positions to make a lot of hard choices.
