Elliot is a most polite little boy who
wears suits and bow ties. When his father suggest attending Family Fun Day at
the aquarium, Elliott is too polite to say no, even though he doesn’t want to
go. But at the aquarium, the Magellanic penguins with their ‘tuxedos’ and
proper posture remind him of himself. So he asks his father if he can have one.
Thinking he means a stuffed one from the gift shop, father gives him money to
buy one. Elliott takes a penguin from the pool, puts it in his back pack, and
happily takes it home to be his companion!
