Of Beasts and Vengeance by Elle Madison and Robin D Hale

I love that we get Einar's perspective in this book.
All. Of. My. Favorite. Tropes.
The fricking cave. Like. Do you know how many tropes are in that cave. Iconic. 
I'm just... I can't. Like...The plot points--all of the scenes that are like. fluff. The mild YA spice level that is appropriate for YA spice. The character growth. The poetic cinema. 
I feel like Einar is a part of the "That's my wife" club....
I would die for Einar. No one is surprised. I'm not even surprised that I would die for him. 
I'm just picturing Yzma's lab with the whole cabinet of vials. 
I wanted more fluff....but I always want more fluff. 
That plot twist at the end. I like... shouldn't have been surprised but also like...
