At school one day, the lesson is Honesty. Kim takes it to heart. She decides she isn't really a Princess, so she puts away all her pink. She is brutally honest with her Grandmother about her new necklace, her friends about their new boots, and her classmates about their paintings. And when Mrs. Reilly brings her new baby to school, she says it is the ugliest baby she has ever seen!Her teacher finally has to take her aside and explain that being honest doesn't mean saying everything you think! Kim has a lot of fences to mend.
