What a great start to the New Year! This book deserves all the stars. It may even be my favorite Cassandra Clare book to date, which says a lot, considering I love the Infernal Devices. Now I can't wait to dive into the next two books.
It just seems like she finally brought everything all together for a fantastic first book, when typically, I think her series are better the deeper you read into them. But not this one. Book one has excellent world building and fantastic character development. The story is fast paced and exciting. I need these characters to become my besties, because they are all so interesting and wonderful. This is a superb YA fantasy novel. I have zero complaints. I just absolutely love this one.
