DREAMING OF THE BONES by Deborah Crombie

DREAMING OF THE BONES was uniquely written from the perspective of three generational eras held together by chapters that each began with a verse of poetry by a linking, but not present, character.  Sound complicated?  It is but pleasantly so.  Like the other two novels, this murder (actually two) has more than one suspect and the reveal doesn’t happen until the last few pages.

I think I may like Duncan and Gemma better than the author’s formulaic plot structure…two more in the series now sitting on my coffee table waiting to be read.
