NO MARK UPON HER by Deborah Crombie

Funny, like another series I read a couple years ago, I’ve begun with the “latest” book and have backtracked to the beginning.  This time my crime mystery series is both a who-done-it and a relationship narrative of two police detectives:  Duncan Kincaid and Gemma James.

NO MARK UPON HER solves the mysterious death of an Olympic caliber solo rower.  I learned much about the mechanics of rowing and the stamina of these athletes, too.  I liked the b/w illustrations in the flyleaves like a map that kept the people and places in place.

William Morrow/Harper Collins 2012 369 p.
