"Strawberries for Dessert" by Marie Sexton

This entry in the Coda series centers on Zach's ex, Jonathan, from "The Letter Z."  Although he works many hours a week as an account executive and is constantly on call, Jonathan goes on a blind date with Cole, a friend of Jared's who gave Cole his number because they both have homes in Phoenix.  Although they don't seem to have much in common, they slowly build a somewhat shallow relationship because Cole rarely lets his guard down around anyone.  He's the classic "poor little rich boy" whom nobody loves.  Zach tries but Cole pushes him away until a crisis gives him an opportunity he has needed all along to help Zach.  Will Zach accept?  I liked this book but it wasn't as good as some of the others in the series.  The parts I enjoyed the most were Cole's e-mails to Jared that reveled his feelings for Zach and the progress of the relationship.  242 pages (Kindle edition).
