I really can't say much because it would all be spoilers about this book. Jordan is a very strong person and doesn't see herself for what she is. She lets people walk all over her, because she thinks that she doesn't deserve any thing better. Her boyfriend isn't a good guy at all, and Pike cares more about her feelings than he does.
