SUMMARY: Jake and Emma live uneventful lives in
Casper, Wyoming, until one of their friends winds up in trouble. Then it is all
hands on deck to get to the bottom of any mystery they encounter.
REVIEW: In book 2, Kristy’s past comes back to
haunt her. In book 3, a thirty-year-old unsolved murder seems to intersect with
the present. These books mainly focus on the mystery, but there is some light
romance as well. I haven't read book 1 yet, but suspect it would be helpful to read the series in order.
