SUMMARY: This book takes you back to Boston in
1901. Katherine Morgan is a socialite, married to enhance a business
partnership, and is desperately unhappy. At the start of the book, Katherine
has just buried her father and she has learned her own life is in danger. Can
she escape before her plans are discovered?
REVIEW: I quickly found myself caught up in
this adventure. Katherine is a feisty heroine. This is a prequel to the Red Pine Falls Cozy Mystery series, which I haven't read. I may give it a try, though, based on liking this book.
